- Use any of our services on UtiliPay, and any other linked applications we own
- Engage with us in other related ways, including any sales, marketing, or events

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. Our services are not meant to be utilised by children, If you are under 18 years of age, kindly suspend the use of this application and contact us for further assistance or explanation.
Purpose statement: Your personal data will be collected during our initial product launch called https://app.utilipay.online. This Policy is limited to our services during this initial product launch.

HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
You agree to use this service in consequence of a marketing or publicity campaign undertaken by or on behalf of Afripie, whether or not you have been introduced to the platform by our agent or a bystander. Such activities have not contravened the provisions of an applicable data protection law, and you are willing to be onboarded on this platform.
When you create an account with us, you interact with some field through which you may provide us the requested to provide the requested service.
During this launch, you may meet with officers of Afripie Technologies. These officers would interact with you for the purpose of onboarding you on our Platform. They may store information in written notes; however, the content of such note would be destroyed as soon as an account has been set up for you.
HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
- To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts. We may process your information so you can create and log in to your account, as well as keep your account in working order.
- To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user. We may process your information to provide you with the requested service.
- To test our product in the market. We may submit product report(s) to VCs and other investors or funders. We may also process your data for the purpose of market analysis and product response report
- To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service.
- To send administrative information to you. We may process your information to send you details about our products and services, changes to our terms and policies, and other similar information.

- To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience. We may process your information when we believe it is necessary to identify usage trends, determine the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and to evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience.

WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Third-Party Disclosure: The policy must explicitly list that User Data (KYC) is shared with: The "Banking Partner (FBO Admin)" for compliance and settlement. The "Liquidity Partner" and "Utility Aggregator" to execute the local payment. Purpose of Processing: Clarify that data is processed to generate "Bill-Payment Instructions (API)", ensuring the policy covers technical transmission of data to foreign jurisdictions (since the Utility Aggregator is local to the beneficiary).
We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
- Affiliates. We may share your information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Notice. Affiliates include our parent company and any subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us.
- Business Partners. We may share your information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We have implemented appropriate information security safeguards that are appropriate to the size of the launch and the need for security and confidentiality of our customers. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
We will take all measure to anonymize your personal information and sensitive information described in this Policy.
DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

We will be making an update to this notice subsequently. However, that update would be in the form of a full review and would not be a revision but a complete version before our full-service launch.
